About Top Rated
Finding the best of anything in Canada usually means opening eight tabs, not trusting six of them, and settling for whatever. We started this so somebody does that work properly and keeps it up to date.
What we publish
Lists in the categories Canadians actually search for. Kitchen gear, tech, home services, insurance, credit cards, travel, pets, and plenty more. Some lists cover one city. Some cover the whole country.
Why the dates matter
Most "best of" pages online have no date on them at all, so you can’t tell whether anyone looked at it last month or six years ago. Every list here shows the month we last checked it. If we stop maintaining a list, we say so on the page instead of letting it quietly rot.
How we stay independent
Placement isn’t for sale and it never will be. Our editorial standards set out what we hold ourselves to.
